“From ancient times, it was believed that when a strong wind blows, an epidemic will spread around the country. Therefore, in order to avoid epidemics and to ward off evil, a bronze wind chime in the shape of a bell called futaku was hung up.” Furin was made as a simpler version of futaku. I think its believed ability to ward off pandemic is currently quite relevant. 😂
I got blue and orange firework design. It’s beautiful! You should however bear in mind that although it’s well protected with bubble wrap, it’s very easy to break in the transport as it is made from a very thin glass. My came broken, but it still works well. The sound is pretty and my cat loves it. 😂 I am really tempted to order more.
